Billing –We utilize direct credit card billing. Your credit card on file will be charged within one to two days of service for that specific mowing only. We expect full payment on invoices upon receipt. Full payment for services must be paid before next scheduled services are performed. We will not resume the services until the full amount is paid. All accounts over 30 days will accrue a $25.00 late charge fee. All accounts over 30 days will receive a notification letter and service will be discontinued. When service is restored, we may require a check at the time of each service or advance payment.
Non-Payment – If your acount is spotted for non or late payment, when service is resumed there will be an extra charge to get your lawn back in maintenance condition where necessary.
Returned Checks - If your check is returned to us by your bank unpaid, there is a $25.00 returned check fee per check added to your account. You will receive a courtesy call when we receive the returned check and a notification letter. If there is no response and/or the returned check and fee is not paid within 10 days of notifications, charges will be filed. If your check is returned to us for no signature, there is a $5.00 check fee added to your account. If payment is not received within 60 days, a Mechanic's Lien lien will be placed on the property.
Gates - In order to access your lawn, we ask that all gates be unlocked on your mowing day or have a combination lock that you feel comfortable providing Cut and Edge the combination so that we may gain access to your lawn.
Pets - We prefer that pets not be in your back yard on the day of your scheduled service. It’s always a good idea to keep your pets indoors or kenneled on the day of service. We understand how important your pets are to your family and with proper notification we can accommodate most request for service that benefits your pet and your lawn.
Overgrown Lawns - Desired results may not be possible on initial service of overgrown lawns. Initial service may incur additional charges for overgrown lawns. Additional charges start at $5 and increase based on necessary time spent to reach desired results. Additional visits may be necessary.
Irrigation - We ask that you do not water,run sprinklers or irrigate your lawn for at least 24 hours prior to scheduled mowing days. It is the customers’ responsibility to insure all sprinkler heads are properly maintained to prevent damage during mowing.
Rain – Cut and Edge will mow your yard if it is lightly raining provided the ground is not saturated. In the event we cannot mow due to weather we will mow your yard the next day. If weather continues to prohibit mowing, at the first opportunity your lawn will be mowed.
Service Day - Once assigned, your service day will not change for the service season. Mowing services will be completed between 7 AM and 7 PM on your service day; we cannot adhere to a more specific time frame.
Privacy Policy - We respect your privacy and will not share any information about our customers including, address, telephone number, email address, credit card info, and bank info with any other party unless required by law. We reserve the right to make changes, additions and subtractions to our Terms of Service and will share any such changes with our clients as soon as possible.
